A blue gin train is coming to London to magically transport you around the world

We’ll travel just about anywhere to get our gin fix, whether that’s embarking on a gin treasure hunt or a gin cruise.

But in the next episode of gin-related adventures, you can soon jump aboard a gin train.

Yep – departing from London, you can ‘travel’ from Java to Ghana to Tuscany, sipping on a selection of gin cocktails all along the way.

I say ‘travel’ because you won’t technically leave the capital; rather than a fully-functioning steam train you can board an ‘immersive experience’ that’ll magically transport you to the different countries using light, sound and taste.

Think a restaurant-version of Secret Cinema, or something like that.

Once you’re aboard the Laverstock Express, you’ll explore the ten botanicals found in Bombay Sapphire gin through ten different ‘journeys’, including a special cocktail and the story behind each one.

Oh, and you’ll be served a variety dishes by Michelin Star chef Tom Sellers to match each botanical-infused cocktail, too.

Tickets cost a pretty decent £30 and the second batch of tickets go on sale on Thursday 22 June, so keep an eye out for them here.
