Gin baubles exist and we want it to be Christmas already

Just when we started forgetting about summer altogether and turning our minds to Halloween, Sipsmith Gin shows up to persuade us that fast-forwarding to Christmas is in fact the best course of action altogether.

Why? Well, Christmas is the only acceptable time really to have a Christmas tree up in your lounge (and the few weeks afterwards), which means it is also the only time it is possible to hang Christmas tree decorations.

Christmas decorations such as Sipsmith’s new, inginious (geddit) invention, first discovered by Good Housekeeping.

Yep, these are Christmas baubles with a difference. The main difference being that they are not baubles at all but rather miniature bottles of gin that you can actually hang from the tree.

YASS.

The gin baubles will be available from Sipsmith’s website from 1st November, costing £25 for a gift set of six and are here to take on last year’s smash festive hit ‘Pickering’s gin baubles’.

“As our London Dry Gin was inspired by the beautiful aromas of a pine tree, we thought all Christmas Trees needed to be decorated in gin this year,” Jared Brown, Master Distiller at Sipsmith told Good Housekeeping.

Our one tip if you decide to decorate your tree with these baubles this year? Make sure you put them in hard-to-find places (e.g. not on the tree at all, but in your locked drawer), to make sure visitors, friends and family don’t get any ideas and start stealing your sips!
